Staff Changes

Hello everyone! A quick update on what is happening at Westminster United Church. Our receptionist, Tanya, has entered a new phase in her worklife and is now working with the Prairie Rose School Division as a one-on-one aide. We wish her all the best in her new career path, and we will miss her dearly.

Cheryl Finnie has agreed to step into the receptionist role for the next few months, as we work towards the shutdown of the church. There is still lots of work to be done, as we wait to hear about the sale or lease of the building.

Southeastern Alberta United Churches are continuing to develop a collaborative ministry plan for southeast Alberta. Identified priorities are worship, fostering volunteer capacity, pastoral care, first third ministry and social justice (newcomers and refugee focus). A staffing plan is being developed.
